Dan is in Pinedale, Wyoming this week on a natural gas rig (Brian's rig actually, what are the odds?) getting familiar with things before he heads off to Houston on Sunday. Lily is really starting to miss her Dad and I fear it's going to be a LOOONG 10 weeks! I'm going to Pinedale on Thursday and Friday to stay at Dan's hotel and spend some private time together before he leaves. Or as my cousin Josh puts it, "Gotta fill the canteen before he goes off to war"!
Just feeling sentimental today and so grateful for the sacrifices Dan is making for our family. I'll post more about his job and how it all came about later. But for now, here is a pic of Dan and the kids on Father's Day:
That is NOT a bald spot on the top of Dan's head, it's a sun dapple. That patch in the front is, though! :) Love you, Bin!

I'm thinking about you all. Dan is taking great care of you all. What a great husband!
I was just reading something today about focusing on all the good your husband does in his many roles. Your post does that perfectly! Don't know Dan, but I know from you that he's great!
What, couldn't you photshop and fix that? LOL Guess it was just too big of a job.
Love you guys and good luck surviving the 10 weeks on both fronts. Do you know how to Skype?
Sue I just love hearing from you! You are too fun. Loved your catch up post! You have been busy. Size 12 to 8! You go girl! I want to see a pic of you and your cute little body - and a pic of your garden. Plus writing for the paper...what a fun job. I'm sure you're fabulous at that - you have a way with words. I can't believe you are a single mom until October! As busy as you are I'm sure it will go by fast. Love that pic of your husband and little ones. Beautiful family!
Okay, how did I miss this post?! I thought I'd been checking yours nearly every day. Anyway, I know it's going to be a rough few weeks, but it will be worth it in the long run. Just give me any excuse to come see you in Cokeville. Maybe after reunion is done, and if you round up some cute fabric, I can come help you quilt something new. (Or call me if you need help on the reunion quilt.)
Glad to see you back although I can't say much since it's been 5 weeks since my last post! Oh well! You'll get through the time. If you need some bonding just head on over. Take care!
I think after ten weeks you will have gained an even deeper appreciation for your husband and all the things he does for your family.
For some reason I got behind on your posts, where have I been? Love this picture, your kids all have Dan's eyes.
