And Baby Makes Three

The girls had vastly different opinions about the new baby when they came to the hospital to meet Mack on December 29th. Lily was instantly in love, as I expected.

Amelia was initially intrigued by the new "bee-bee brow" (baby brother)...

...but it didn't take long before she was WAY more interested in eating my pumpkin pie.

I can tell that it was love at first sight for Lily. You really captured that in the first picture on this blog. Is this baby sleeping at night? Are you exhausted? I'll give you a call later this week. Facebook me the time that would be best for a chat.

Isn't it amazing how big your other children seem when you have a new little baby? I'm sure you will have all the "help" you can stand with two big sisters for Mack. Those are such fun (and exhausting) days.

Dude, that was totally Connor when he visited us in the hospital last summer when Emma was born - "Where's the food?" He just wanted to mooch my snacks and food tray, then go back home to play. Gil wasn't much better - he was itching to play Grammie's laptop the whole time. I was better about kicking them out than when Connor was born. "Yes, love the baby, stay ten minutes, then go away and leave me alone so I can rest!" Whew!
