After filming Lily nearly a dozen times trying to pull her tooth out, what did she do? Pulled it out while I was on the phone, of course. Little stinker!
Now we have a beautiful, toothless, BIG girl. She's so brave, she pulled every single tooth out by herself. Hooray for Lily!
Now, everywhere we go, Lily shows her toothless grin to anyone who will look. All the adults want to know the same thing, "How much did the Tooth Fairy bring you?" $2.00. "Man, she only used to pay like a quarter when I was a kid!" Gotta love inflation!

No way on the videos for me - sorry. I started to watch the second one, but started gagging and had to turn the volume off and scroll down!! Teeth are one of the main things I can't deal with. I hated pulling them when I was younger and I can't even look at loose teeth now. I'm not really squeamish all in all - in fact I love watching hunters cape their elk, but when it comes to knocking out those ivory's I have to turn away and plug my ears. I don't know what I'm going to do when my kids start loosing their teeth. Maybe I'd better not have any more kids and I won't have to deal with it as much :)
cute story & pictures!
Those dangly teeth drive me crazy!!! they can be hanging on by a thread for weeks! how do the kids stand it?
The tooth fairy once left a car wash token and seven quarters under Savannah's pillow ... that was really hard to explain! She should be more careful next time :)
A dime, the sum total that the tooth fairy left me for taking each of my teeth.
Fun pictures I think....
I had to tell my neighbor she was overpaying her kid for his teeth. She paid him $2.00 per tooth and he was bragging to my kid about it. I only paid $1.00 per tooth and I thought I was being overly generous. I'm not sure I've convinced her to come down in price - because DANG. I can't keep up with that...my kid is going to have to think his teeth are lesser quality.
In response to the whole "what does the tooth fairy do with the teeth" thing? My eldest figured that she is building her castle with them. I kinda had to not gag when he said it.
Yeah, I was telling someone, Zen's parents I think, that we pay our kids $2 a tooth, and you could tell they were thinking, "Man, kids these days are so spoiled, got no appreciation for how hard life is..." But hey, I'm like, there's a limited number of them, why not make a big deal out of it. And teeth don't really bug me, but spit is another matter...
Too cute! Lily is adorable and seems fearless about the whole tooth losing thing. As opposed to my oldest, whom I did hold down finally and pull out the first one. Good times, good times...
By the way, our Tooth Fairy only pays a dollar too. What's up with that? :)
Dude, I think my pitchfork is itchy. Just post a goofy pic, or something.
